The Trinidad Cabildos Premier Pack was launched at the Habanos World Days Gala Dinner on June 22nd 2024, in London. These Premier Packs have been produced by Habanos SA exclusively for the United Kingdom and will never be released into other markets. This is the second Premier Pack that Habanos has ever produced and only 10,000 numbered packs have been made. As each one contains 5 Cabildos, that means just 50,000 cigars have been made. It is expected that boxes of 12 Cabildos will go on general worldwide sale in around six months’ time.
The Trinidad Cabildos measures 6 3/8” (162mm) x 46 ring gauge and is known as an Ilustres in the factories of Cuba, it is a unique size within the Habanos portfolio. As with all Trinidads it has an aromatic and approachable medium bodied blend, beautifully framed by the slight sweetness that the dark wrapper provides. It is the fourth Edición Limitada from the brand, following the Ingenios (2007), Short Robusto T (2010) and Topes (2016).
These cigars have all been made totally by hand using long filler leaves, all sourced from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba and aged for a minimum of two years.
The flavours and aromas are complex. Present from the beginning, notes of nuts, vanilla, and woody notes evolve and become smoky, and torrefied notes.
