🚚 Shipping Services & Rates

We currently ship orders within the United Kingdom only via Royal Mail:

  • Royal Mail Tracked  – £4.95
    Delivery usually within 2 working days from dispatch (not guaranteed).

  • Royal Mail with Signature – £8.95
    Same service with signature on delivery for added peace of mind.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your chosen option.

⏱ Dispatch Times

  • Orders placed before 1 PM Monday to Friday are typically dispatched same day.

  • Orders placed after 1 PM or on weekends/public holidays ship the next working day.

You'll receive a tracking number via email once your parcel is dispatched.

🔞 Age Verification on Delivery

As a tobacco retailer, we are required by law to ensure customers are 18 or over.

By placing an order, you confirm you meet this legal age requirement. Royal Mail may request proof of age upon delivery. If delivery is refused due to failed age verification, your order will be returned, and a refund minus shipping fees will be processed.

We recommend selecting Signed For shipping to ensure secure delivery.

📦 Delivery Issues & Delays

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is fast and reliable, but delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak periods or due to Royal Mail disruption.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 5 working days, please contact us at info@thesmokingjacketshop.co.uk with your order number.

📬 Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to receive your parcel and age verification or a signature is required, Royal Mail will leave a “Something for You” card with instructions for redelivery or collection.

Unclaimed parcels may be returned to us. If this happens, we’ll contact you to arrange redelivery. A second shipping charge may apply.

🎁 Packaging & Discretion

All orders are packaged in plain, discreet boxes or envelopes. Where appropriate, cigars are shipped with humidification to preserve quality during transit.

📸 Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged or appears tampered with, please email info@thesmokingjacketshop.co.uk with photos and your order number within 48 hours of delivery.

If Royal Mail confirms your parcel is lost, we will offer a replacement or full refund.
