Why this cigar

A rare, numbered “Reserva” take on Montecristo’s modern classic. All tobaccos are from the 2018 harvest and were aged in bales for three years before rolling, then dressed with a silver-and-black Reserva band and presented in luxury boîte nature boxes. Just 5,000 boxes (100,000 cigars) were made worldwide. It’s the ninth release in the Habanos Reserva series (first launched in 2003) and only the second time Montecristo has been chosen, following the Montecristo No.4 in 2007. Flavour & draw

Signature Montecristo cocoa and roasted coffee are wrapped in sweet cedar, vanilla biscuit and gentle spice. The extra-aged leaf adds polish and depth: a cleaner, silkier texture, balanced sweetness and a lingering cocoa-citrus finish. Medium-to-full in flavour with the Edmundo’s cool, steady draw and even burn.
