“The Reserva Especial was our sophomore release and the result of the most important decision in our company’s history, the purchase of our own farm from which to grow our own tobacco. The cigar boom of the 90s made it increasingly difficult for a small company like ours to acquire the robust tobaccos we were looking for; most options available to us were simply leftovers that the larger & more established brands did not buy.

The only option we had was to grow our own tobacco, so we did! This allowed us to completely change our style of cigar from the traditionally mild flavour profile that the Dominican Republic was known for to cigars like the Reserva Especial, Ligero, Double Ligero, and various other blends known for their extraordinary character, power, and flavour.

The Reserva Especial features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper adorned around fillers and binder grown on our farm. The blend itself is characterised by a powerful elegance, the medium bodied smoke is smooth but it’s flavours are abundant and diverse, featuring a myriad of spices, wood, nuts, and earth to keep the experienced palate entertained from start to finish.”  – Tony Gomez, La Flor Dominicana

  • Accessories (lighters, cutters, humidors, etc.) if unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition within 14 days of delivery.
  • Tobacco products (cigars, pipe tobacco) only if faulty, damaged or sent in error.

My order arrived damaged or wrong — what now?
Email info@thesmokingjacket.co.uk within 14 days with your order number, details, and photos. We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.

How do I start a return?

  1. Email info@thesmokingjacket.co.uk with order number + reason (and photos if damaged).
  2. Once approved, post to:

  3. Include a copy of your invoice/confirmation.

Who pays return postage?
You do, unless the item is faulty or we made an error.

When will I get my refund?
Within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless we’re at fault.

  • Items returned without prior approval
